Daily Timetable

7.00am - WAKE UP : Rise and shine. Make your beds and go outside to play.

7.25am - TABLE HOSTS : Off to the Dining Rooms to have your breakfast and then serve the other kids in your group.

After breakfast, Table Hosts stay behind to do the dishes and tidy the Dining Rooms.

7.55am - BREAKFAST TIME : Line up outside the Dining Rooms.

8.45am - MORNING ACTIVITIES : Choose from one of 8 activities including Archery, Bouldering, Animal Feeding

Mini Golf and Games Room etc.

9.15am - ASSEMBLY : Meet in the cinema for daily Hut Marks, Weather Report and lots of singing.

9.45am - ACTIVITY SESSION 1

10.45am - Morning Break : Grab some fruit from the Sports Store

11.00am - ACTIVITY SESSION 2

12 noon - TABLE HOSTS : Off to the Dining Rooms for your lunch before you serve the other kids in your group.

Table Hosts stay behind after lunch to do the dishes and tidy the Dining Room

12.30pm - LUNCH TIME : Line up at the Dining Rooms

After lunch you will have some free time. Have a rest, write a letter or play a game.

1.00pm - MAIL CALL : Letter and emails sent from home will be handed out in the asphalt

1.30pm - ACTIVITY SESSION 3

2.30pm - ACTIVITY SESSION 4

3.30pm - Afternoon Break : Grab some fruit from the Sport Store

3.45pm - ACTIVITY SESSION 5

4.45pm - Shower Time : Everyone showers once a day. Table Hosts first.

5.00pm - TABLE HOST : Off to the Dining Room for your dinner before you serve the other kids in your group.

Table Hosts stay behind after dinner to do the dishes and tidy the Dining Rooms

5.25pm - DINNER TIME : Line up outside the Dining Rooms.

5.50pm - EVENING ACTIVITIES : Find your freinds from other groups. Choose an activity and have fun.

Canteen, table tennis, mini golf and the Library are open.

6.20pm - DIARY TIME : Return to your Huts to write your diary and reflect on you're challenges and daily experiences.

6.45pm - EVENING ENTERTAINMENT : The whole camp comes together every night to participate in different activites.

Activities include ; New Games Night Hike, Bush Dance, Concerts, Tabloid Sports, Disco and the Campfire on the last night.

8.45pm - BED TIME : Lights out. You'll need your sleep. Every day is a busy day at camp.

Each Friday we celebrate Floral Friday as a way of supporting and embedding First Nations cultures in our community.

We encourage our students to bring Floral Friday alive by embedding this experience into our Somers School life.

SO.....we welcome you to bring something floral to wear on Friday during your camp.

Somers Camp will also provide some craft items at camp so you can choose to join in the celebration that way too.
